Welded mesh is a mesh made of ribbed or plain wire rods. These steel wire rods must undergo the resistive spot welding technology. At this time, steel will melt down to the point that steel wires connect together, thus forming a dense, consistent mesh into big slab.
On 24th March 2018, QH Plus implemented the installation of steel core construction (Spire) system on top of Landmark 81 building roof, this structural part has a height of 61 meters and weight 160 tons, helping the tower reach the record height of 461 meters, become one of the tallest towers in the world.
Welded mesh is manufactured from high tensile cold-drawn steel wire and undergoes automatic welding process by resistive spot welding technology so it has a higher bearing capacity than other types of manual wire mesh made by welding machine.
